Research has shown that the community is engaged and optimistic about the possibilities for the vacant former Jacobs Middle School site. What sits empty now has the potential to grow and thrive as a walkable, family-friendly, safe neighborhood for Eureka families.
We hope the City is listening. Eureka residents have been clear that they overwhelmingly support housing at the Jacobs site rather than a state building.
We want to hear from YOU so we can share your input with the City when Measure F passes in November. What is important to you at the Jacobs site? Family – friendly housing? A community gathering and events center? A corner store where families can easily shop? An ice cream shop where friends can gather for a sweet treat on a hot day? Sports fields for our youth and adult active enthusiasts? What other ideas do you have?
Tell us what you want to see at the former Jacobs Middle School site. Just imagine the possibilities for the future of Eureka! And, most importantly, vote YES on Measure F to make our community’s vision for Jacobs a reality.
